10 of the Strangest deaths of all Times

When it is time, it is time. There is no way that the way a person is going to die can be predicted.  There have been many strange deaths in history, deaths that have eluded the mind sometimes due to what happens and sometimes due to the mere unusualness of it. This lists brings to you top ten strangest deaths in the world that have been reported a lot of times before as well but I am sure reading through you will be quite amazed at the strange way life and death sometimes work together.

10. DEATH BY GARBAGE

There were once (1947) two brothers by the name of Homer and Langley Collyer. They had a phobia of throwing away things and thus collected every junk possible into their own house. They had huge collections of junk and newspaper and what not. The police got a tip one day that there is a dead body inside the Collyer house. When they went inside to investigate they found one brother buried under a heap of newspapers, his body completely rot and mouse eaten. They found the other brother after a few day just a few feet away from the other one. Apparently one was paralyzed and the other one got caught on one their own booby traps and got killed. The one who was paralyzed later died from starvation. Who would want to collect garbage is what boggles us in this entire thrilling tale!

9. DEATH BY BEARD

There was once this Australian man Hans Steininger who had, on record, the worlds largest and longest beard in his time, that is 1571 to be exact. When ever he used to go out and about he used to roll up his beard for the fear that he might trip over, such was the length. Well one day there was a fire in the village to which his belong and in his haste to reach safety the poor man forgot to perform the roll-up (we use the word for the lack of a better one). While on the run, he tripped over his own beard, fell on the floor while breaking his neck at the same time. The beard that once bought him fame made him die on the spot. How strange and how ironic at the same time!

8. DEATH BY OVER COAT PARACHUTE FAILURE

M Frantz Reichelt was a bit of a dare-devil when it came to the way he lived his life. This is the least that can be said after reading the way his life ended. He was actually a tailor by profession and once he had invented an over coat which also doubled as a parachute. After the invention was complete he decided to test it himself and that too by jumping of t he Eiffel Tower and nothing less. Well I guess it is no surprise that he jumped to his death because the parachute refused to open and fell smack down on the pavement below. Ouch! That must not have felt very comfortable.

7. DEATH BY DESSERT

King Fredrick of Sweden loved his sweet dishes to the extent that he died from them. He was from then on known as the “King who ate himself to death” in 1771 after he had a huge meal and then a never-ending dessert which consisted of 14 servings of Semla ( a bun that is filled with marzipan and milk) and a few glasses of champagne.

6. DEATH BY EMBRACING THE REFLECTION OF THE MOON

There was once a Chinese poet known as Li-po. He was known to be one of the greatest poets of his time and as is with all of these poets out there, he had an endearing love for liquor. So much so that he is known to have written the best of his poems while under the influence of liquor. Like we said before, death probably is not a laughing matter, but how will you react when we tell you that one night, the poet was out on his boat and was obviously drunk, he tried to embrace the reflection of the moon, fell over the edge and drowned. We say that is too much liquor Mr li-po!

5. DEATH BY SUICIDE ON LIVE TV

Christine Chubbuk was a live TV newscaster who committed suicide on national television while it was going on air. Wonder what was depressing the poor soul, it is speculated that before that show she had actually researched into what killed faster and found out that by shooting oneself in the back of the head with a revolver causes instant death instead of shooting in the temple. And that is exactly what she did, after announcing on the TV that ” in keeping with the tradition of Channel 40, we again bring the latest in blood and guts” and with that she shot herself in front of the entire crew and died on the spot. She must have been going through some very troublesome times.

4. DEATH BY A CACTUS

In 1982, two people decided to get a little adventurous and started shooting a huge dessert cactus with a shotgun. It is known that one should not harm plants intentionally because they have this way of getting back at you for what ever you do to them. At first the two friends continued their shooting practice at a small cactus. The poor little plant succumbed to the on slaught. Encouraged, they moved on to a 26 foot tall cacti which was probably a hundred years old. The main gun man, Grundsman, shot of a whole branch of the cactus which fell on him crushing him to his death on the spot. To date this is perhaps the only known instance where a plant seems to have taken revenge.

3. DEATH BY DROWNING AT A LIFEGUARDS PARTY

There was a party going on in the recreation department in New Orleans where the life guards were celebrating a whole year of no mishaps and zero deaths. They had decided to treat themselves for a no-death year when one of the strangest things happened. A dead body was found at the bottom of the pool. Apparently someone had drowned right in front of four on-duty life guards and around 200 off-duty lifeguards who were attending the party but some how no one realized that a person was drowning.

2. DEATH BY POISON, GUNSHOT, BEATING BY CLUBS, DROWNING

So the legends have it that a Russian mystic legend by the name of Rasputin was first poisoned with Cyanide, it did not affect him, he was then shot several times after which he fell down but later on revived and stood back up. He was then continuously beaten with clubs until he lost consciousness or perhaps his life. He was thrown into the water as is for good measure so that his death was ensured. He did not re-surface and that was the end of him but WOW! what a stamina.

1. DEATH BY RE-CREATION

There were two sisters out of which one got killed by getting electrocuted. What happened was that she was hanging out clothes and she suddenly slipped and stabled herself by catching hold of a live wire near by. That caused her to die instantly. When the funeral was taking place, her sister took the guests out to the place her sister had died. She was demonstrating what had happened when she slipped in reality in the exact same fashion as her sister, got electrocuted and died on the same spot.

Ten of the Weirdest Tattoo’s

Having a tattoo done on your body is becoming increasingly popular these days. We see so many people walking around with daredevil tattoos like for example a tattoo on the ankle. They say it hurts like hell. Or perhaps a tattoo on the skill it self, that must hurt a lot even from the point of view of an inexperienced person. But oh well, what you see walking around you won’t see in this list, because what we have gathered for you is a list of the weirdest tattoos in the world. They might make you laugh or simply question the mental well-being of the person himself/herself. Feast your eyes people on something you might never have seen before.

10. PALATE TATTOO

People have been known to cross over to the crazy world and get tattoo’s in places but having a tattoo on one’s palate has to be one of dumbest things. Needless to say it is very daring as well. The person seen in the picture above is a user of DME and is known as Gnomoweb. He is seen having a star-shaped tattoo etched onto his palate. There are very few people in the world who have been known to have gone this far in their dream to have a unique tattoo. To us this seems like pushing the limits.

9. EYEBALL TATTOO

Caution to those below eighteen, the image presented can be impressionable and not reasonable for viewing without the company of an elder. An elder who should tell you strictly that “DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS AT HOME”. Hell, we say do not attempt this at all. A rare technique where the color of the scelra (the white part of the eye for those who aren’t aware of the terminology). The most amazing this is that this trend was launched by a bunch of cellmates. A Canadian man also got this treatment during which, according to him, he got around 40 injections of colored ink in his eye and finally the color was altered. To lessen the shock let us inform you that this method of tinting the sclera has been in use for more than 2000 years now, initially used to cover some defects.

8. TONGUE TATTOO

Remember the feeling you have when you accidentally bite on your tongue! OUCH! Hurts doesn’t it? Well there are people in the world who are so immune to pain or perhaps so in the need of pain that they actually go ahead and get their tongue tattooed. How sick is that? The people who place the art on another’s tongue have admitted that it does hurt quite a lot and those who get it done claim that it is impossible to actually speak for a few days but it is all worth it, as per them, to stick their tongues out at unexpecting people and watch the shock hit their faces. The new thing in this trend is a flavored tattoo for the tongue. You can opt from garlic (are u a vampire?), vanilla, and chocolate!

7. TEETH TATTOO

Ok so all the skin thing is fine, go ahead get your tongue tattooed, or many be even your palate, and yes we are also OK with you getting your eye balls colored but please oh please not the teeth. Not them! When I first heard/read about the fact that people actually get their teeth tattooed I was like “What good is that?”. I mean, how do you even show case the tattoo? Do you just roam around with your mouth hanging wide open like a dog out of breath or perhaps a zombie looking for food? No? What then? It completely baffles me the extent to which some people go just to look stupid! In mu opinion one might as well get stupid tattooed right on their forehead! Would make the point more easily!

6. COW TATTOO

Laugh out loud people! Yes the tattoo in the picture above is actually a tattoo that a person paid for to get right on their belly. It is hilarious no doubt. Jokes we get, but doesn’t this seem like taking it too far. I mean when does the joke end? Let us examine a bit more closely as to what the person actually wanted to achieve. Ok so you have a cow tattooed onto your stomach Mr Tattoo man and you use your belly button as the anus of cow. Hmmmmm! Isn’t that creative. So what you mean to say is that when the cow poops it comes right out of your belly button! So do you also use the toilet for this purpose as in, sitting face down on the toilet seat when the cow says “Mooooooooooooooooo…!”

5. ALIEN TATTOO

So this particular tattoo seems to be an overly expressed dedication to Prison Break and to perhaps Aliens as a whole. It actually seems like a mixture of the two. We can only imagine the pain the guy must have gone through while getting this done. No doubt that colors and the over all art is amazing but then again, going to so much trouble for the sake of a painting on your body. Wouldn’t it have been less painful to have “Alien” written across your hand with a small bubbly head of an alien to remind you of the shape! Well guess not! We got to hand it to you bro! If you walk by us like this I would definitely do a double take!

4. FLOURESCENT TATTOO

Ok this one we like! This is actually a pretty cool tattoo. What happens is that the tattoo is actually inked in flourescent color which means that it will only glow in black light. No, not the dark, just black light. Most of the times such ink is used in between regular tattoos just to make them more sparkly and shiny or so they say! If the ink doesn’t show it doesn’t mean that it doesn’t hurt. Do not kid yourself!

3. TATTOO INSIDE THE LIP

So we have another one of the weirdo’s. I wonder how someone normal can withstand the pain of having a tattoo etched into the inside of their lip. Well apparently to some the pain does not matter as can be seen in the picture above.

2. TATTOO ACCESSORIES

This is a relatively new and equally stupid concept. What you do us that you go to the artist and ask them to draw a pair of accessory on your face! It can be anything and as far as the person in the picture above is concerned, it is specs. If given much thought, it might actually seem like a sensible thing to do so why don’t we halt the thinking process right here and move onto the next type. (You can also have bangles and bracelets tattooed to your wrist).

1. HAIR TATTOO

This one is becoming hugely popular. What they do is that they use this technique of tattooing where they ink tiny minute hair like things onto your skull which to the onlooker seems as if you have a cropped hair growth. For some people this is way better than having a hair transplant. I wonder if someone would want to try having a closely cropped beard to go with it! Well it’s an idea!

Ten Unusual and Weird Accidents

Let’s face it folks, each and every single one of us is scared of accidents. I, for one, haven’t experienced any major accident my entire life and I thank God for that. You might not be aware but the world experiences different accidents every single day and I am not talking about your everyday road accidents. I am talking about something on a much bigger scale, something that gives the word ‘weird’ a new definition. This article talks about the weirdest and the most bizarre accidents from around the world over the course of history. You do not expect these sort of things to happen every day or even once in a blue moon and that makes this article a very interesting one indeed.

10. PHILADELPHIA BOILER EXPLOSION

An experimental ‘train engine’ blew up in Philadelphia, County Durham, England. The year was 1815 and it was a four-wheel engine. Sixteen people were killed and this is recorded as the first major railway accident. You will not find a detailed account of this accident easily. Poor victims were the sightseers who were gathered to see the locomotive in action. The explosion left countless more injured.

9. BOUNCY CASTLE DISASTER

You are familiar with the concept I assume. Once, a bouncy castle filled with 30 people broke free and took off into the air. It is reported that the castle took off to an altitude of 50 feet, turned over travelled 150 feet and then fell to the ground. This resulted in injuring 13 people and killing two. This incident would have been so awesome if at all there were no deaths or injuries in fact, I very much would have loved to be a part of the entire incident. Air filled castles have been related with many incidents of the sorts but his one worthy of mentioning on this list.

8. DEATH OF LADY CONVENTRY

Maria Gunning, also known as Lady Coventry, was considered to be a beauty in her time. She spent a lot of her time applying white makeup and red rouge every day since that was the style of that day. Her husband however, did not like this and tried to stop her from using this make-up. Lady Coventry died at the age of 27 because she over used lead-based makeup. She would have probably been in a better place if she had listened to her husband.

7. NAPOLEON’S COUGH

It is said the Napoleon was suffering from a bad cough when he accidentally ordered the execution of 1,200 prisoners. It said that he said ‘Ma sacre toux’, which meant ‘my damn cough’, but the soldiers mistook it to be ‘massacre-tous’; that means ‘massacre all’. If this whole incident was proven to be true I would have put it on the number one spot but unfortunately there are many different stories regarding this particular incident.

6. LAKE PEIGNEUR ACCIDENT

This incident took place while drilling a salt mine beneath a ten-foot deep lake. The third level of the mine was accidentally pierced by the drill caused the lake to flow into the mine because of which the tiny hole started to expand. The inflow began to quicken and that resulted in a huge whirlpool which then sucked in the drilling platform, eleven barges and 65 acres of the surrounding terrain.

5. GOIANIA ACCIDENT

A radioactive contamination accident occurred in Goiania, Brazil on 13th September, 1987. This is considered to be one of the worst nuclear disasters in history. It took place after an old nuclear medicine source was scavenged at an abandoned hospital. The source was handled by so many people who it ended up contaminating 249 people and resulted in four deaths. This contamination spread like wildfire; 130,000 people filled the hospitals, houses and to be destroyed and several sites had to be abandoned.

4. LONDON BEER FLOOD

This is something that doesn’t happen every day. A vat of beer at London’s Meux and Company Brewery cracked open on October 16th, 1814. That resulted in 550,000 gallons of beer being poured out into the streets of London. The wave that was caused by these accidents destroyed two homes and crushed the wall of Tavistock Arms Pub. This brewery was located among the poor settlements of London. Eight people lost their lives in this unusual flood. The incident was declared to be the ‘act of God’.

3. THE BALL OF BURNING MEN

King Charles VI of France hosted a ball on January 28th, 1393. His idea was to disguise himself and five other friends as savages. The men decided to cover themselves with feathers and pitch. Note here that the pitch is highly inflammable. They entered the ball chained together when a man approached them with a torch to get a better look. They caught fire immediately. The King was saved but two of his friends were burnt alive at the very moment while the others were severely injured. Two amongst the injured lost their lives soon after.

2. BOSTON MOLASSES DISASTER

A tank full of molasses exploded in Boston’s North End on 15th January 1919. The explosion resulted in a shockwave that shook the foundation of the nearby houses. Metal shards were found 200 feet away from the explosion. The tank had 2.3 million gallons of molasses which is why a 25 to 30 feet wave of molasses was formed at the time of explosion.21 casualties occurred and another 150 were left injured because of this bizarre incident.

1. SIDOARJO MUD FLOW

PT Lapindo Brantas was drilling for gas in East Java, Indonesia in May, 2006 when they suddenly caused a volcano of mud to erupt. The flow continued for a very long time and by September that year the mud volcano had flooded rice paddies and villages. That left 11,000 people from eight different villages totally displaced. Twenty-five factories were shut-down and even fish and shrimp ponds were annihilated. Transportation and power had been cut off to the area. You must be surprised to know that the mud flow continues still at a rate of 100,000 m3 per day. It is expected that the flow will continue for the next thirty years however the rate may decrease with time.
Let us know in the comments if you have even more unusual accidents.

Ten Weird and Fascinating Medical Tales

I am going to be honest here and say that I absolutely hate anything and everything that has anything to do with biology or medical science. But that does not stop the medical world from being fascinating at times. That world is full of weird diseases that you probably aren’t even aware of, different medical marvels and weird anomalies. This article discusses top ten tales from the medical world which are really bizarre. Each story is interesting in its own way and some are very, VERY difficult for the human mind to comprehend.

10. MAN WITH VULCAN BLOOD

You guys know Star Trek right? Do you remember Mr. Spock with greenish blood? Well, apparently that can occur in humans as well. In October 2005, doctors at a hospital in Vancouver were inserting arterial line into a patient in order to relieve pressure in his legs. The doctors were startled when they saw ‘green’ blood instead of the usual red blood. Initially the doctors thought that it’s because the hemoglobin did not bind with the oxygen in the blood. But it later turned out to be because of a condition where hydrogen sulfide combines with the ferric ions in the blood to form sulfhemoglobin, which then turns the blood green.

9. TWO DNAS

Karen Keegan is a woman with two different sets of DNA. One day she required a kidney transplant. She had three sons and all three were tested to see if their organ was compatible. Two of her sons did not match Keegan’s DNA structure. That’s because the mother had two different sets of DNA. The DNA that matched with the other two sons was found in Keegan’s thyroid gland. This one was weird.

8. NATALIE ADLER

Natalie is young woman from Melbourne, Australia. She suffers from a disorder that renders her blind every three days out of six. Her eyes just close down and she can’t open them before three days. This whole phenomenon started when was eleven years old. Initially, the ‘shut-down’ of the eyes occurred randomly but soon enough the procedure started following a cycle. No cause for this disorder has been found out yet and therefore, no cure has come out.

7. PENCIL IN THE HEAD

Margaret Wegner suffered from a lot of headaches and nosebleed for fifty-five years. She finally opted for surgery in August 2007. The surgery was conducted to remove a 3 inch pencil that stuck in her head in an accident when she was four years old. She couldn’t have the surgery back then because of the lack of technology. It was also feared that the doctors might cause some irreversible damage. So her parents decided to wait she waited for five whole decades. The doctors performed a successful operation on her and now the headaches and nosebleed are gone.

6. GIRL WITH NONSTOP LAUGHTER

Xu Pinghui is a 12 year old girl from Chongqing. She developed a fever when she was eight months old and that led her to laugh continuously and uncontrollably ever since. This particular phenomenon is the reason that she lost her ability to speak when she was two years old. She can only communicate through giggling. It is still not known why this weird disease was caused. Even calling it a disease is actually weird. The doctors believe that it might be because of the damage caused to her frontal lobe.

5. IMPALED WITH A FAUCET

Yi Zhoa from Chongqing (China) was 57 years old. He accidentally impaled his eye socket with a bathroom faucet. He was rushed to the emergency room and because of the faucet it was impossible to do a CT scan. A plumber was called to remove the pipe out of his socket. That did not work out so well so Zhoa took the matters into his own hands. Of course he was guided by doctors. Miraculous though it may sound, the eye received very little damage, the brain received no damage and the facial bones suffered fractures.

4. 100 DEATHS

Jim McClatchey was 54 years old and lived in Atlanta, Georgia. His wife found him unconscious in the house and so he was rushed to the hospital. He was struck by an unknown virus which is why his heart kept going into a cardiac arrest even when he was given a hundred electric shocks. In the first hour of this treatment, the heart stopped fifty times. Jim suffered second-degree burns on his chest of these electric shocks. He was able to survive all of this and was sent back to work in no time. Unlike the cats that have nine lives, this lucky bloke had hundred.

3. HEART RECIPIENT

William Sheridan from New York was 63 years old and he was recovering from a recent heart transplant surgery. He suddenly developed this great passion for art and would draw beautiful sketches. The organ with which he was provided with belonged to an artist. This phenomenon is called cellular memory. It is just a theory but it is said that a brain is not the only part with memory and that other parts also contain memory. Sometimes, the person implanted with an organ tends to behave the way the organ donor did because of this very phenomenon.

2. EIGHT-LIMBED GIRL

This girl was born in Bihar (India) in 2005. Her name is Lakshmi Tatma. She was born with eight limbs. Her headless twin’s body was joined with her at the pelvis thus resulting in four arms and four legs. She was named after the Goddess Lakshmi because the Goddess herself has many arms. This condition is known as isciopagus. Interestingly enough, Lakshmi also has two spines, four kidneys, two stomachs and two chest cavities.

1. MIRACLE WALKER

Chenoweth has spent the last ten years in a wheelchair. He was born with a disease that left him unable to walk so he consulted his doctor about taking lessons for scuba diving in 1998. The doctor forbade him to do so but he went on with it anyway. He dove to a depth of 55 feet upon setting foot on land again he found that he was able to walk. But soon he was unable to stop walking so he went underwater again. This time he was able to walk longer before losing control over his legs. Soon he discovered that the deeper he dove, the more he could walk. So in other words, deep diving was the fuel for his legs. Beat that.

10 Popular and Deadliest Suicide Points in the World

Disclaimer: This post is only for educational purposes. In case you are having depression, please feel free to contact Suicide Help Line 1-800-273-8255

I would not like to linger on the point of explaining what suicides are and what makes people commit them because it is an immensely sad and depressing topic. So moving right along, I would like to add to your knowledge as to what are the most famous suicide points in the world. Yes you are right, I will point out the places in the world where people like to go to, which people actually prefer, when they get suicidal. If you have an impressionable mind I suggest you to not delve to long in this article.

10. AOKIGAHARA

This forest is present at the base of the famous Mount Fuji in Japan. Aokigahara is also lovingly known as the Sea of Trees. This place has been known to be home to quite a number of ghosts and a lot of paranormal activity has also been reported several times. It is quite the spooky place to be in and it has also been rumored that its caves remain icy cold. Even in the summers they are covered in icing. As far as the statistics are concerned, there have been a total number of 70 suicides reported in this haunted forest EVERY YEAR. It breaks my heart to know that so many people lose their lives mostly out of depression. And i am sure all those who die must be later on rumored to have been haunted and then taken away bu ghosts and other unknown beings. How terrifying is that.

9. GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE

The Golden Gate Bridge Built in 1937, this bridge had the highest suspension duration of its time. The Golden gate is not an amazing destination in San Francisco, California and it is known internationally. If you go to the bridge with the intention of Suicide, there is no hurdle that shall you or make you alter your decision. This bridge, that connects San Fransisco to Marin county, and is also part of State Route 1 and US Route 101, presents such a foreboding and mysterious image that all those wishing for a beautiful yet alarming death are attracted to it. It has this lethal dignity which pulls in sad and broken people. As far as the statistics go, around 30 people were found dead from it last year and since it was constructed, there have been 1500 suicides to its credit.

8. NIAGARA FALLS

We have all heard about the Niagara Falls. It lies across the international border that separates Canada and New York. As far as the statistics go, their have been approximately 23 suicides that are committed every year at Niagara falls. The most interesting thing is that mostly women are interested in the looks of Niagara falls but most of the suicide jumpers were males, 59% to be exact where as there was only a 41% of females who were courageous enough to take the leap. Not that it is something to feel proud over. I wonder how they must have felt falling over the massive 100 foot waterfall.

7. BEACHY HEAD

The highest chalk sea cliff in Britain, Beachy Head is found on the south coast of England, East Sussex. It mounts to nearly 162m above the sea level which, if roughly calculated, means around 530 feet. There have been quite a few mishaps on this point has well which later became known as the East Sussex SUICIDE POINT for example a person trying to jump off in an attempt to commit suicide but landing on the pathway below and being crushed by a car. Now that is one messed up death. So let is review the statistics for this particular suicide point which say that approximately 20 people commit suicide every year and to date nearly 500 bodies have been found. It is so sad.

6. CLIFTON BRIDGE

Another one of the famous suspension bridges, The Clifton Bridge was built across Avon gorge in 1864. It connected Clifton to Leigh woods from Bristol to North Somerset, England. The first suicide attempt from this particular bridge was in the year 1885 when a women tried jumping off of it. I want to say luckily for her, her skirt acted as a parachute and saved her life. Nearly a thousand people have given away their life on this bridge and every year just keeps adding to the total count. Although security barriers and railings have been added but I guess to a suicidal person it is like: you gotta do what you gotta do!

5. PRINCE OF EDWARD VIADUCT

The Prince Edward Viaduct, ranked as the fifth most lethal and life taking structure in the world, is actually a bridge system in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It connects the west of the system to the east (Bloor Street to Danforth Avenue to be exact). Nearly 400 suicides have taken place at this bridge to date. The authorities felt that they had enough of the trauma and they feared that the poor bridges’ name would be marred for life if any precautionary measures were not adopted after which they decided to build the Luminous Veil. It is a protective barrier and after its addition, the bridge has seen no more deaths. Well that is an achievement we must because the rest of the suicide points in this list till now have not such an improvement to prevent suicides at least.

4. CORONADO BRIDGE

I request you to not be surprised at the huge number of bridges that you might see in this list after all, what might be more convenient to a suicidal maniac (with all due respect) than to jump off to eternal disappearance, I mean eternal peace, actually no, i just mean Death. The bridge is also known as the San Diego Coronado Bridge. IT is on the State Route 75. It has the morbid honor of being the fourth most lethal structure in the world. It also prides itself on assisting 200 deaths to date! Absolutely no pun intended. These matters are serious.

3. EIFFEL TOWER

Eiffel Tower is not a bridge. Ok jokes apart, obviously you are all aware of that. This tower was given the name of its designer and engineer Built in the year 1889, this is the tallest building of Paris. It is a very well-known building all around the world and since the day it was open to public, nearly 200 million people have visited it. The most horrifying incident and the first of its nature for this place occurred when a man hanged himself from one of it beams. Statistics show that over the years more than 350 have tried to mae a suicidal jumping attempt from various floors of the tower and only two managed to survive.

2. AURORA BRIDGE

The Aurora Bridge, construction on which was completed on February 27, 1932, is located in Seattle Washington. The first suicidal attempt from this bridge was made even before it was open to general traffic. This is the bridge that has been used to actually study and research how suicide attempts can be avoided. As far s the statistics go, this bridge has the honor of over 230 deaths to date. Quite a huge number if you ask me especially since they were trying to study how to avoid deaths.

1. JACQUES CARTIER BRIDGE

It might come as no surprise that the last and final suicidal point on the list is also a bridge, well before you get a little jittery let me add to your knowledge that bridges are the most convenient methods of suicides. This bridge was built across the Saint Lawrence River. Traffic started moving on the bridge in 1930. Canada is famous for a number of busy, this one being the second busiest. They have not been able to avoid the suicide attempts at this point and this according to the statistic reports there are approximately 143 suicides here every year.
